Aaahhhh, Ultra reminds me when I was still in a junior high school. So many awesome boyband on a magazine on that time. The radio always played their songs. And I still know the lyrics well till today. There were Ultra, Code Red, 5ive, Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, Hanson, The Moffatts, Caught In The Act, BB Mak, O Town, Plus One, 911, Boyzone, C21, Westlife, Blue, A1! Oh nooo!!! I love their songs and their gorgeous face so much! I'm curious, where are they now? What's goin on with them? What are they doing now? are they still singing?

Chasing My Dream: September 20th, 2011

43 hari lagi menuju tercapainya mimpi gue sekitar 4 atau 5 tahun yang lalu: Watching Panic! At The Disco's concert in Indonesia.

Walaupun 3 tahun yang lalu, tepatnya 17 Agustus 2008 mereka udah pernah ke sini. Tapi karena mereka ke sini lagi, gak ada salahnya berusaha mewujudkan keinginan gue tersebut buat ngelihat performance mereka secara live through my eyes.

Beberapa hari yang lalu, tepatnya tanggal 5 Agustus 2011 gue dikasih info via sms oleh temen sesama Panic! At The Disco's lover asal Cirebon, teteh Ratih yang ngasih tau kalo tanggal 20 September 2011 ntar, mamas Brendon Urie and si Spencer Smith bakalan ke Indonesia, ke Jakarta, ke Gelora Bung Karno!

Kenapa info itu mendadak sekali??? Setelah ngubek-ngubek Google, info tersebut berhembus ke massa sejak tanggal 3 Agustus 2011: Click aja link ini

Udah pernah nonton 'The Barbie Diaries'?

Biasanya diputer kalo gak ma Indosiar ya RCTI. Ini salah satu seri dari film-nya Barbie. Dari serial Barbie yang ada gue paling suka ya The Barbie Diaries. Seri Barbie yang lain kan kebanyakan fairytale, kalo The Barbie Diaries ini beda. Si Barbie ini digambarkan sebagai American Teenager yang sekolah di SMA yang dihadapkan pada masalah-masalah anak muda, kayak berteman, pacaran, ngegossip, kegiatan di sekolah. Layaknya anak SMA di Amrik sana, pasti ada gank populer dan gank gak populer, tonton aja sendiri film nya! hehe, keren kok. Berdasarkan info yang beredar The Barbie Diaries ini akan ada sekuelnya yaitu The Barbies Diaries 2, yang baru tayang perdana di summer 2011. Aaahhh, senangnya! Gue tunggu film-nya!

Nah, salah satu soundtrack-nya ada yang berjudul 'This is Me' dinyanyiin oleh Skye Sweetnam. Teenage Canadian Singer who was born on May 21st, 1988.

Dan, ternyata 'This is Me' itu juga jadi soundtrack nya film 'Her Best Move' (film in 2007). Tapi, yang di Her Best Move, dilihat dari suaranya yang nyanyiin bukan suaranya Skye Sweetnam. Sampai sekarang gue masih penasaran. Kira-kira siapa ya, udah googling juga, tapi belom nemu. Sama bagusnya, tapi yang lebih cocok ditelinga gue yang versi aslinya, versi mbak Skye Sweetnam. Hehe,

Vices and Virtues by Panic! At The Disco

Today is March 22nd, 2011

Panic! At The Disco (P!ATD)  is my fave band ever! Sejak jaman mereka masih berempat, waktu si Ryan Ross ma Jon Walker masih di P!ATD (sekarang bikin band sendiri namanya The Young Veins), sampai sekarang yang cuma berdua, tinggal mamas Brendon Urie ma Spencer Smith. Walo gue gak punya CD mereka, tapi gue punya semua lagunya. Dari album pertama A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, terus Pretty.Odd yang aneh banget tapi  yang paling keren lagu yang judulnya Northern Downpour yang dijadikan nama fans nya P!ATD (walo gue gak official tapi gue meyakinkan diri gue included Northern Downpour dong!!!! hehehe ), nah album paling baru mereka nih yang mau gue omongin, namanya Vices & Virtues!!!

Harus nunggu sampae 3 tahun baru bisa dengerin album barunya P!ATD sejak Pretty.Odd di tahun 2008. Setidaknya sih di tahun 2009 kemaren P!ATD ngeluarin single yang dijadiin soundtrack nya film Jennifer's Body yang maen Adam Brody, Megan Fox ma Amanda Seyfried (Adam Brody jadi vocalist band namanya Low Shoulder keren banget!!! ). Judul lagunya New Perspective.  Tapi kan lamaaaa..... Ngobatin kangen ya paling download-download cover version by Brendon Urie atau P!ATD sendiri.

Akhirnya hari ini March 22nd, 2011 resmi rilis lah Vices & Virtues ke dunia by iTunes dulu, hihi dan jadi trending topic di twitter loh!! Sampae pas nulis nih blog juga masih trending topic world wide!

Alhamdulillah nya hari Rabu kemaren tanggal 16 Maret 2011, teteh Ratih (temen fesbuk yang cinta ma P!ATD juga) ngasih link di Mediafire tentang 10 lagu yang ada di Vices & Virtues, tapi ternyata sehari berikutnya tuh link udah gak bisa dibuka, bocor kayaknya (suara nya mamas brendon, beneran!). Ya Allah, syukron jiddan ya Allah, jazakumullah khairan katsira!!! Pas hari Rabu sebelum Maghrib gue klik link nya download deh sambil tinggal ke masjid buat Maghrib-an, balik-balik dari Maghrib udah selesai ternyata download nya...

Jujur, kalo Panic! At The Disco ke Indonesia lagi, gue Fardhu 'Ain buat nonton! (Bebebkuuh anterin pokoknya, habis nonton langsung balik ajah!!! Ikhlas gue nabung berbulan-bulan sebelumnya buat beli tiket ma transport!!!), soalnya pas P!ATD ke Indonesia tahun 2008 gw gak bisa nonton eh malah dapet bebebkuuh, hihi pas P!ATD lagi di Jakarta!!!

Subhanallah, Ya Allah, kok gue baru tau ya...ada Moslem singer yang keren banget, namanya Maher Zain. 

Mana besok kata dia akhir April depan mo ke Indonesia, mo duet ma Fadly Padi buat lagunya yang "For The Rest of My Life". Tuh lagu buat istri-nya deh. Selalu kayak gitu, tiap ada pria keren pasti he's TAKEN!!! hehehe,

Naive - by The Kooks (and Lily Allen's version)

Akhir-akhir ini gue lagi senang mendengarkan lagu nya The Kooks, terutama yang judulnya Naive. The Kooks itu band asal Brighton, England yang beranggotakan 4 orang, aksen British mereka sangat kental (klik aja ini kalo mau lebih jelas). Lagu dengan judul Naive ini sebenarnya sudah gue punya sejak tahun 2008 beserta lagu lainnya di album Inside In/Inside Out. Padahal lagunya sendiri sudah berkeliaran di radio ataupun telinga anak muda di British sana sejak tahun 2006.

Kenapa akhir-akhir ini gue suka dengerin nih lagu ataupun The Kooks? Jawabannya adalah Kenapa why selalu always tidak pernah never? karena because itu that!!!! hehehehehehehehe, Karena setelah gue stalked stalked ke profile FB nya si Aleks Vrteski (yang pertama dan yang tidak bisa di search, bukan FB dia yang kedua yang dia buat setelah ditanya para fans nya via twitter mana FB-nya, tapi gue selalu tau kalo FB pertama dia tetep on line-in untuk teman-teman ataupun sodaranya yang di Aussie sonoh, walaupun dia juga nurut waktu gue minta twitter dia di synchronize in aja ma FB nya yang gue tau yang ke dua, biar dia gak perlu update status di FB, ahh tetep aja gue tau kalo itu bukan FB dia yang pertama), di bagian Music dia menyukai The Kooks!!!

Untuk ukuran pemaen sepak bola, gue cukup takjub bisa-bisanya dia tau The Kooks!!! (salah satu pertanyaan yang bakalan gue tanyakan, andaikata gue ketemu dia di salah satu foodcourt di mall yang ada di Solo, atau di mana sajalah asal ketemu dia). The Kooks itu cukup terkenal di UK and Ireland, tapi susah untuk dikenali jika mereka di US. Entah bagaimana ceritanya, ternyata eh tenyata The Kooks itu bisa dikenali jika mereka ke Aussie, dengan certificate Gold for the sale of their first album with major label! Maybe that's why, mamas Aleks knows them! (By the way, mamas Aleks itu is not only Australian, he's also a Macedonian! I didn't know, where the hell Macedonia was in the Earth!!! I never learn it though I was in a Social Class when I was in a high school ,then I know it by Google of course, Macedonia itu deket-deket ma Greek a.k.a Yunani! What! Wow! Pantes rambutnya item, namanya pake ski ski). It means, mamas Aleks itu bisa dibilang sangat gaul (gue mau jadi temennya, tapi dia terlalu tinggi badannya untuk jadi temen gue di dunia nyata, 6 feet 4 inch and a half!!! Ntar gue disangka anak pungut nya lagi!!!) Gue bisa get along well with someone kalo dia punya selera telinga kayak gue!!! Gue rasa kalo mamas Aleks tau The Kooks yang mana band Indie nya UK, pasti playlist di iPhone atau iPod nya keren-keren! (juga pertanyaan yang bakalan gue tanyain kalo ketemu dia entah di mana).

Back to the title, kenapa gue milih Naive dari puluhan lagunya The Kooks yang ada? Karena Naive itu sudah sangat familiar, terutama di telinga gue. Lagu ini ada di closing film 17 Again yang main Zac Efron ma Sterling Knight. Lily Allen juga nyanyiin lagu ini, untuk Lily Allen's version ada di Soundtrack film Angus, Thongs and Perfect Snogging (British teenage's movie! with a very strong accent) yang maen Aaron Johnson. Pengen tau lagunya nih:
